Summary: The Utility Operator is responsible for making gel masses, compounding medicine, operating encapsulation machines, and operating inspection and packaging equipment as needed and directed.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Adhere to batch record specifications and keep the processes in control.
• Assure that SOPs are followed, and production performed in accordance with cGMP.
• Obtain and maintain documented certification through training for the following processes:
• Gel Making
• Compounding
• Encapsulation
• Automatic Inspection/Packaging Sizing/Printing/Etching
• Document activities in logbooks incorporating good manufacturing practices.
• Wear the required personal protective equipment.
• Adhere to gowning procedures.
• Operate all equipment in a safe manner.
• Assure manufacturing equipment is in proper working order, request maintenance work orders when necessary.

Qualifications:

• Two or more years of experience in GMP regulated production environments. A combination of education and experience may be substituted.

Education/Experience:

• Minimum high school diploma or GED preferred
